UNICA is a new generation of asphalt shingles from Tegola Canadese, engineered to respond to the increasingly extreme effects of weather events damaging roofs across the world. Violent storms, heavy rains, and hail are more frequent than ever, creating dangerous infiltrations into roof systems. UNICA addresses this directly with shingles capable of facing the most adverse conditions nature delivers.

UNICA asphalt shingles represent a genuine innovation in the roofing market. In addition to a wide range of shapes and colours, UNICA incorporates three patent-pending technologies that set it apart: exceptional wind and hail resistance, long-lasting waterproofing, and colour that does not alter over time.

All UNICA shingles are CE marked to EN 544, fiberglass-reinforced, and surfaced with G-EVO ceramic basalt granules. They contain no asbestos or tar. The full range is supported by complete technical documentation, declaration of performance, and installation instructions for each profile.

"Seal Proof" — self-adhesive nail sealing

A new design and self-adhesive compound doubles the adhesive surface and seals the fixing nail from all sides, protecting against wind-driven water infiltration and nail corrosion.

"G-EVO" — ceramic basalt granules

A patented ceramic basalt granule with an adhesion promoter and superhydrophobicity — protecting the waterproofing layer from UV degradation and inhibiting microalgae and mould.
